Everyone get their taxes sent in by today?
I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I’d want to get that close to duck tails (wooOOoo). A little ink and watercolor from my brown paper sketchbook.
A few years back, I was having lunch in the San Fernando Valley at a place called Slaw Dogs with my buddy Tom Cain. While eating, a woman walked past us on the sidewalk LOADED with perfume, and her own sense of bedazzled/leopard print style. When I got back to my desk, I quickly roughed out an impression of her from memory. I recently revisited that sketch and worked up this drawing.
Bless you Los Angeles, for all your quirkiness. I call it “Slaw Dog Millionaire.”
Well, mostly peaceful I suppose. Squirrels can offer up a lot of jibber-jabber chatter when their trees are in peril.
Guess it is to be expected for squirrels to be like this on a day like today – Earth Day. 🙂

Speaking of godfathers, today just so happens to be the 49th anniversary of Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather. Despite being a tremendous influence in how organized crime is portrayed in the movies, it needed more kitty.
